Fia Rua (Caragh native Eoghan Burke) has just released his third album on the Urchin Collective label. The alternative-folk album "The Sky Went Low And The Sea Went High" deals with the themes of global warming, male identity and Galway, where Fia Rua has been based since 2000. Described as "a folking brilliant piece of work" by Hotpress, Fia Rua will be touring mainland Europe over the autumn following a run of Irish gigs including a much talked about Electric Picnic performance last month.
If your looking for a raw and honest voice who tells it like it is, then Fia Rua is your man.
